This week we examine the lasting effects of the crisis in Ukraine with Kat Poster, whose family fled Soviet-controlled Ukraine a generation ago, when she was a girl. Kat discusses the escape, the support her family and other refugees had upon reaching Western Europe, and her arrival in the United States. Kat's story illustrates the rootlessness that persists for decades when communities are destroyed.
